What is a Pre-Order?
A pre-order item is an item that is not currently in stock and is ordered from our vendor or supplier specifically after your purchase is placed. This allows us to offer a wider variety of styles and sizes while keeping inventory costs manageable.
Estimated Shipping Timeframes
Each pre-order item will have an estimated shipping timeframe listed in the product description. These timeframes are estimates only and are based on vendor-provided timelines.
Please understand that pre-order items often have longer processing and shipping times than ready-to-ship items.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to the listed estimated shipping timeframe.
Shipping Delays
While we do our best to provide accurate shipping estimates, delays can occur that are outside of our control, including but not limited to:
- Vendor delays
- Manufacturer delays
- Shipping carrier delays
- Supply chain disruptions
Carolina & Rose LLC is not responsible for delays caused by vendors, manufacturers, or carriers.
Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time the pre-order is placed. Your item is secured with the vendor based on your completed purchase.
Cancellations
Pre-order purchases cannot be canceled once the order has been placed. Please review all product details, sizing information, and estimated shipping timelines carefully before purchasing.
Sizing
We do not offer size exchanges on pre-order items. Please carefully review all size charts and product details before ordering to ensure you are purchasing the correct size.
If the wrong size is sent due to an error on our part, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at customerservice@carolinaandrose.com.
Mixed Orders (Pre-Order + Ready-to-Ship)
If your order contains both pre-order and ready-to-ship items, these items will ship separately. Ready-to-ship items will ship according to our standard shipping policy, and pre-order items will ship once inventory is received and processed.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is available for eligible pre-order items and will be offered at checkout when applicable.
Defective Items
All pre-order items are carefully inspected upon arrival and before shipment. If you receive a defective item, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing customerservice@carolinaandrose.com with:
- Clear photos of the defect
- A description of the issue
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached to be eligible for review.
Tracking Information
Tracking information will be provided once your pre-order item has arrived to us, has been processed, and has shipped out to you.
